your mental health matters
Life can be hard. Getting help should be EZ.
EZ Mind Psychiatry provides an inviting space for ages 15 to 55 wanting to start their journey living as their best self.
Hello and welcome to EZ Mind Psychiatry. My name is April Parker. I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). That is just a fancy way of saying my passion is all things mental health. I have spent the past decade of my career working in various roles within the mental health field. I truly value my time spent with each patient and it has been an honor to dedicate my career to this field.
I was born and raised in Midland, Texas.
I relocated to Dallas, Texas in 2016. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Hobbies include reading, mentoring students and staying active with the family.
Why Ez mind psychaitry?
Sharing your most private thoughts with a stranger can seem intimidating. At EZ Mind Psychiatry we strive to make every encounter as easy as possible. In my practice, I strongly believe that forming trusting, nonjudgmental connections with my patients creates an inviting space for our work together. To help alleviate added stress, we offer a free 10-minute phone consultation where April will answer any questions you may have about her services so you can decide if EZ Mind Psychiatry is a good fit for you.
At your initial visit we will spend time reviewing your family, medical, psychiatric, and psychosocial history. After this information is gathered, we will discuss in depth what your current concerns are. This helps me learn more about you so together we can decide on the best treatment option.
Perinatal Mental Health holds a special place in my heart. As a mother, I know the challenges we face. I spend time expanding on my knowledge in this niche so I can better serve all the mama’s out here. Our children need US and if you are struggling, you’ve got ME!
High school and college students: The struggle is real out here. School life was one wild ride! Do you find yourself avoiding getting help in fear that your provider won’t “get it”? Well trust me, I gotcha. We can work together to navigate through these stressful yet rewarding stages of life.
